Located on tribal land of the Band of the Potawatomi Indians in neighboring Pokagon Township, more than 100 Native American dancers from thorughout the Great Lakes will compete at Kee-Boon-Mein-Kaa Powwow. As they compete for cash prizes, the Potawatomi Indians celebrate the end of the huckleberry harvest.
Families will enjoy the music of drum groups, as they visit a marketplace that showcases black ash baskets, traditional beadwork, sweet grass braids, jewelry, crafts and native foods.
