The outdoor music series, which is underwritten by Huntington Bank, opens the first Thursday in June. With the exception of festival week, all performances begin at 7:30 p.m. The bricked parkway, located at the corner of Front and Beeson streets, provides ample room for lawn chair seating. Music enthusiasts enjoy vocal and instrumental performances featuring jazz, bluegrass, the big band sound and ethnic. The concert series is hosted by the Downtown Development Authority and is underwritten by Huntington Bank. This affectionate spoof of a 1950s sci-fi movie tells the story of a skid row floral assistant named Seymour Krelborn. While Krelborn becomes an overnight hit after discovering a mysterious plant with a thirst for fresh blood, he soon realizes he bit off more than he could chew in this rock musical. Performance dates are June 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29 and 30. Little Shop of Horrors is presented in cooperation with Musical Theatre International.
